Hi! I’m Lola Chajmovicz from Monsey, NY and I’m going to tell you all about Wednesday, July 19. After wake up and tefilah, we had French toast for breakfast (this might seem trivial but this French toast was amazing). After breakfast, we had chaburah. After that we got on the bus to Yad LaKashish; which is an organization that employs elderly people that otherwise would be retired or poor. These people create amazing things, actually though. There were metal workers and crocheters and so much more. It was great to visit such an amazing place. After hitting the gift shop, we headed to Maor seminary for lunch. Dr and Mrs. Luchins treated us to Burgers Bar. After we ate, Dr Luchins spoke to us. We benched and then we were off to our second chessed activity of the day -Tachlit. Tachlit is an organization that gives food to poor people. We packed boxes and then we were addressed by one of workers about the organization and how volunteers like us help them help other people better. Since we love to give, we had a third chessed activity! But before we started, we went to a mini mall for some time. After our time was up we went to a park for the chessed activity. We danced and made pitas with blind and disabled people. We had so much fun, but all things come to an end. After mincha we went back to our base is Beit Shemesh and had dinner. For night activity, we had lip sync battles! They were FABULOUS, you could BET ON IT! Overall, today was a great day; not only because we had French toast but because we did a lot of chessed!!!!
